Nutrition Consultations & Meal Plans

Overview
Each person has varying nutrition needs based on a number of factors including our sex, weight, height, physical activity level, life stage and medical condition. In our consultations, we assess what your nutrition needs are and work with with you in developing and maintaining a holistic lifestyle plan that will help you to achieve your nutrition goals. Some nutrition consultations require a doctor’s referral and some conditions are also best managed in a physical face to face session. These and any other requirements are covered in the additional requirements tab for each service category. If you are interested in a meal plan, we recommend clicking here first to assess if a structured meal plan is likely to be helpful for you. Prior to providing you with a meal plan, we conduct an initial 1 hour consultation with you to assess your nutrition requirements, lifestyle factors and food preferences.
Note: If you are interested in a nutrition consultation for a condition or diet preference not mentioned below or are feeling very ill or are experiencing symptoms which may be best assessed in a face to face consultation, we recommend that you consider a face to face consultation. You may contact your local nutrition association for Dietitians or Nutritionists in your area. Examples of cases like these include being home from a recent surgery and having difficulty swallowing well or having kidney disease but experiencing complications (e.g. oedema – oedema can be assessed by pressing your finger into your arm and it pits (meaning it takes many seconds to spring back to normal).
