Nutty Beetroot Shake
An antioxidant rich shake, that'll please both your tastebuds and your body!
- 2 cup Almond Milk
- ½ cup Oats
- ½ cup Beetroot boiled, diced
- 2 tbsp Honey
- 1½ tbsp Chia seeds You can increase or decrease the chia seeds to manage the thickness of the shake
- 1 tsp Cinnamon e.g. cinnamon and nutmeg to taste if desired
- ½ tsp Coffee if a coffee Flavour is desired
- ½ cup Ice
- Bring the water to a boil and add the diced beetroot. Turn off the stove once the beetroot is soft enough for a fork to stick it.
- Pour beetroot and beetroot coloured water into a blender and add remaining ingredients to the blender.
- Blend everything together until smooth. Leave in the refrigerator to chill or serve over ice.
